FEATURED PROJECTS
Dharatal has led the construction and conservation works for the interpretation center for the Royal Gardens of Rajnagar project, funded by the Belgian chapter of Indian Trust for Rural Heritage Development (ITRHD).
Located in a 18th century royal garden, the center will also serve as a space for organic farming training for locals and gatherings for local festivals and rituals.
Dharatal embarks upon assisting Government of Bangladesh and UNESCO Dhaka office in drafting the National built heritage conservation policy and strategy for Bangladesh.
The policy and strategy has a special focus on climate change impact on the rich national cultural heritage and it's mitigation; and incorporates more community centric models for heritage conservation. Post zero draft, we will now assist in organising national level stakeholders' meeting to make the draft, a successful one.
We have collaborated with Mahindra Sanatkada Lucknow Festival 2021 to showcase the architectural beauty of Baradaris around the city, the theme being 'Naqsh-o-Nigaar-e-Baradari'.
We used drone photos, photogrammetry,
animation and archival research to showcase the changing historical landscape of the safed baradari. The festival that embraces genuine artisans from across the country has a similar story as of the Baradaris in terms of its favourable reception of all spheres of life.
