Dharatal embarked upon assisting UNESCO Dhaka office and Department of Archaeology Bangladesh in collaboration in drafting the ‘national conservation strategy and policy for the built heritage of Bangladesh’. Evolved over the centuries, Bangladesh’s cultural heritage is unique, intricately linked with its nature, from historic monuments to contemporary landmarks. With community as a central figure, the policy will involve and encourage local communities to work alongside various experts in decision making and implementation.
