Norway derives its identity largely from the sea and its egalitarian social philosophies, which becomes the basis for the proposed design solution. The curvilinear form of the building and modest sub terranean nature of design in a way imitates the natural stony beach of Norway and the fjords cut into the land by the sea waves and is inspired from the prehistoric viking houses.

The design solution with its form and circulation envisages the urban transformation of the nearby area in to a larger cultural district for #Oslo by the sea in future.
