Restoration of painting and art of Sheth Subaji Ravchand Jaichand Jain Vidhyashala Trust, Ahmedabad

Dharatal had the opportunity to restore a series of historic paintings and artworks belonging to the Sheth Subaji Ravchand Jaichand Jain Vidhyashala Trust in Ahmedabad. The project aimed to preserve the artistic and cultural value of these works through a careful and methodical conservation process. The key steps involved in the restoration of the painting were- examination, surface cleaning, consolidation, structural repairs, removal of older varnish, retouching, re-varnishing and reframing. This initiative ensures these invaluable pieces remain accessible and meaningful for future generations while respecting their original character and integrity.
