Badshahpur baoli, Gurugram
The Badshahpur baoli (stepwell) was built in 1905 to address the water scarcity and functioned as a community water conservation system during times of crisis. Due to rapid urbanization, the site was neglected and gradually filled with debris. Dharatal was involved in the detailed documentation, archival research, condition assessment and prepared the Detailed Project Report with proposed design interventions. The initiative aims to restore the baoli (stepwell) as a cultural landmark while reviving its historical role in water management practices for the city.
